On 9th September 2024, the newly sworn in Judge of the African Court on Human and People’s Rights in Arusha, who is also a Justice of the High Court of Uganda, Honorable Justice Duncan Gaswaga paid a Courtesy call at the Uganda Consulate Offices in Arusha, Tanzania and was received by the Honorary Counsel Amb. Anne Katusiime. Amb. Katusiime welcomed Justice Gaswaga to Arusha and Tanzania generally and congratulated him upon his recent election to the African Court rising the Ugandan flag high. She further briefed him on the activities the Consulate undertakes in Arusha specifically closely following up and representing Uganda on the EAC integration process and providing Consular services to Ugandans living and working in Arusha and the surrounding areas.Justice Gaswaga thanked the Ambassador for the warm reception and appreciated the work the Consulate is doing in representing Uganda’s interests. He further pledged to work closely with the Consulate during his tour of duty in Arusha.
